Finding shops and ordering on sukbay.com

How shoppers find a shop, follow it, order, pay and track the order, with or without an account.

sukbay.com is where you find shops in Ethiopia and order from them. You can look around without signing in; you sign in (or create an account) when you want to order, follow a shop or save favourites.

Find a shop or a product#

• Use the search box: type a shop name, a product or a hashtag. Typing suggests matches.
• Browse the home page for shops and products. Each shop page shows its picture, description, address, phone, what it sells and its products.
• Open a shop's link directly, for example sukbay.com/shop/<shop-name>, or scan the shop's QR code.

Follow, like and save#

• Follow a shop to see it in your list and be notified of its activity.
• Like products and save them to favourites, which you can organise into collections.
• Read and write ratings and reviews after an order is delivered.

Order step by step#

   Add to cart

   Open a product, choose options such as size or colour if it has them, and add it. Your cart is grouped by shop.

   Choose delivery or pickup

   Pick how you want it. Delivery fees depend on the shop.

3. 3

   Pay

   Pay at the shop, or send money to the shop's Telebirr or bank account and attach a screenshot as proof. Some shops take orders by phone only and show a Call button.

   Track it

   The order moves from Pending to Confirmed, Ready for pickup and Delivered or Picked up. You are notified at each step.

5. 5

   Rate it

   When it is done you can rate the products.

Prices and availability#

Prices are in ETB (Ethiopian birr). A shop may show Call for price. A product shows as sold out when the shop has no stock for online sale. The shop's page is always the source of truth.

Promo codes and rewards#

Enter a shop's promo code at checkout for its discount. You can also share products and earn a share reward if the shop offers one. See Share & earn rewards.

Your account#

• Sign up with a username or email and a password, or continue with Google.
• In the mobile app you can also browse shops as a guest and sign in only when you want to order.
• Manage your profile, favourites, orders, notifications and settings from your profile.
