# Settings & security

Language, themes, notifications, two-step sign-in and your data.

## Appearance

- Six accent colours — orange, blue, purple, pink, green, red.
- Light or dark display. Your choice is synced across devices.
- Mobile menu style: a classic bottom bar, or a floating **Menu bar** button that opens a full-screen menu.

## Keeping your shop safe

- Turn on **two-step sign-in (2FA)** so a stolen password is not enough.
- Use **App lock** (PIN) on the mobile app and the *Lock* button on the web dashboard when you step away.
- Turn on **Auto logout** so idle sessions close themselves.
- Give employees only the permissions they need.
- Use *Sign out of other devices* if a phone is lost.

## Selling Strategy

Decides which batch a sale takes from: **FIFO** (oldest first, the default), **LIFO** (newest first), **cheapest cost first**, or **I choose myself**. See Product history for the table.

## Notifications & Alerts

Set the number of days before a batch expires that you want a warning (default 7), the number of days before your subscription ends to be reminded (default 10) and the hour of the daily performance report (default 9:00 PM East Africa Time). Changes apply from the next alert check.

## Appearance

Pick an **accent colour** and a **background**: light backgrounds or dark ones, each with several tones. The choice follows your account on every device.

## Account and shop profile

- Your name, email and password.
- Your shop's name (and Amharic name), logo, cover picture, description, address, phone and social links. These show on your shop page in the customer app.

## Data & Privacy

Export your data and read how it is handled. Closed reports, receipts and customer debt links are private to the people you share them with.
