Ring up sales, handle online orders, take payment and share receipts.

All sales — from the counter and from the customer app — live on the Orders page.

## Making a sale (POS)

1. **Press Sell.** Or New sale on the dashboard.
2. **Add products.** Search or scan the barcode. Choose quantity. The warehouse and batch are picked for you (oldest first).
3. **Customer (optional).** Attach a customer to track their history and credit. Leave empty for a walk-in.
4. **Take payment.** Mark paid, or leave unpaid to record it as money the customer owes you.
5. **Receipt.** Print it, or share the receipt link or QR code.

## Online orders

Orders from the customer app arrive as *Pending*. Open one to confirm it, mark it ready for pickup, and finally *Picked up* or *Delivered*. The customer sees every step and gets a notification.

| Status | Meaning |
| --- | --- |
| Pending | The customer placed the order; waiting for you. |
| Confirmed | You accepted it and are getting it ready. |
| Ready for pickup | Ready to collect at the shop. |
| Picked up / Delivered | Done. The customer can now rate it. |

## Online or offline orders? Group them

Above the list there are three buttons: **All orders**, **Offline orders** and **Online orders**, each with a count. Online means the customer placed it in the customer app; offline means it was sold at the counter. Press **Group by step** to split the list into *Needs your action* (pending, confirmed), *On the way*, *Delivered* and *Cancelled / refunded*.

## Close the day

Press **Close day** at the top of the Orders page (the old Reports button in Chat moved here). Choose *Today* or *This week* and, if you are the owner, a warehouse. There are two different reports:

| Report | What it shows |
| --- | --- |
| Sales report | Money made, items sold, the **orders** of the period split into **Online** and **Offline** (with a total for each), and the list of what was sold. |
| Stock report | Items in stock, number of products, stock value, lowest stock first. |

1. **Check the numbers.** Big figures first, then the list. Search the stock list by name or code.
2. **Close it.** Press Close sales report or Close stock report. The report is saved and marked **Checked**.
3. **Sign it.** Draw your signature with the mouse or your finger. You can also choose *Sign later* and sign from Closed reports.

Each period can be closed once per warehouse. A card also appears in Chat so the team sees it was closed. Closed reports stay in the **Closed reports** tab with a *Checked* and *Signed* badge. Open one to see everything it was closed with — the figures, the online and offline orders, the products sold or the stock list — plus who closed it and the signature.

## Payment

Customers can pay in store, or send money to one of your Telebirr or bank accounts and attach a screenshot as proof. Check the payment, then mark the order paid. Marking a credit order paid also settles that customer's debt.

## Receipts

Every receipt has a **permanent link and QR code** that opens a clean receipt page. It shows your shop's details, address and TIN. Press Share on any order card to send the link. The page prints neatly.

> **Warning:** Anyone with a receipt link can open that receipt. Only share it with the customer it belongs to.

## Order details

Press **View** on an order card to open its details: the customer and delivery address, the items with their pictures, the totals (subtotal, VAT, shipping, discount, **withholding**, total), how much is paid and how much is left, the warehouse, and a timeline.

- **Print Receipt** opens the receipt; **Mark as paid** settles it; **Delete Order** asks for a reason and returns the stock.
- A **Paid / Left to pay** summary at the top shows partly paid and split-paid orders at a glance.
- An order sold by an employee shows **Sold by** with their name and role.

For one payment, split payments, credit, VAT and withholding see Payments.

## Selling rules

- You cannot sell more than the stock a warehouse holds.
- Which batch a sale uses follows your Selling Strategy in Settings.
- Cancelling or deleting an order puts the units back into the same batches.
