# Getting started

Create your shop and make your first sale in about fifteen minutes.

Sukbay has two sides. The **shop dashboard** is where you and your team run the business. The **customer app** is where shoppers discover your products and order from you. Everything you set up in the dashboard shows up in the customer app when you choose to show it.

## The fifteen-minute setup

1. **Create your account.** Open the dashboard and sign up with your email (or Google). Enter your name and your shop's name. You become the shop owner, with access to everything.
2. **Pick your language and theme.** At the bottom of the sidebar switch between English and አማርኛ. Under Settings › Appearance choose an accent colour and light or dark mode.
3. **Add a warehouse.** Your first warehouse is where stock is kept. Add more later for branches or storage rooms. See Warehouses.
4. **Add your products.** Go to Products › + Product. Add a name, SKU, category, price, unit and pictures. Use Scan / Import to add many at once from a photo or a pasted list.
5. **Stock them in a batch.** Open a product's Batches and add the delivery you received, with its cost and quantity. Sukbay now knows your real profit.
6. **Make a sale.** On the dashboard press New sale, pick the products, choose the payment and finish. Share the receipt link or print it.
7. **Go live for customers (optional).** In Customer Showcase confirm the products you want online, add a cover picture and bio, and share your QR code.

> **Tip:** You can do everything from your phone. The mobile app and the website show the same shop, so staff can work from either.
