# Alerts & notifications

Low stock, expiring batches, customer debts, recurring expenses, daily reports and subscription reminders.

The **bell** at the top opens the Notifications & Alerts Center. Sukbay checks your shop and tells you what needs attention, once per problem, so you are not flooded.

## What you are alerted about

| Filter in the center | When it appears |
| --- | --- |
| Low stock warnings | A product falls to or below its low-stock level (set on the product, 15 by default). |
| Expired & expiring batches | A batch will expire within your lead time (default 7 days) or already has. |
| Payment & debt reminders | Customers have unpaid orders: how many customers and the total owed. |
| Daily performance report | The evening summary of the day (default 9:00 PM EAT). |
| Recurring expenses | A repeating expense was set up or created an entry. |
| Customer activity | A shopper followed your shop or placed an order. |
| Verification requests | A new batch or transfer needs a count approved (in Chat). |
| Subscription | Your plan will expire soon (default reminder 10 days before). |

## Working with the center

- Pick a filter on the left to see one kind of alert. The number shows how many are unread.
- **Mark all read** clears the unread count. **Refresh alerts** checks again now.
- Alerts clear themselves when the cause is gone: restock a product and its low-stock alert disappears.
- On the mobile app the same alerts arrive as push notifications, grouped so a busy shop is not spammed.

## Change the lead times

Go to Settings › Notifications & Alerts. You can set how many days before a batch expires to warn you, how many days before your plan ends to remind you, and the hour of the daily report.

> **Tip:** Set the batch lead time to match how fast your goods sell. A fast-moving shop might want 14 days of warning for dairy; a slow one might prefer 30.
